The Hi-Q make microwave  waveguides, components and the Trainer system is a precision made,Bench type. Which usese standard type waveguide components (WR90) to illustrate the essential elements of this field of study.

The Trainer system has  a selection of Waveguide  components and an electronic supply containing the power supply for a Modulated solid state dielectric resonance oscillator, X-Band microwave source, a Frequency Meter, A demodulation circuit and a meter which monitors the detector output.

The Trainer system is completely self contained and provides the means to allow students to Carry out a realistic  practical work. The  comprehensive manual containing extensive microwave theory and a progressive series of  assignments is supplied with the Trainer.

VSWR Meter

VSWR meter has been designed using the solid state devices to be used for the measurement of VSWR, impedance & relative power levels. The meter indicates the Signal level directly in VSWR and dB. A selector switch provided for different input- Crystal, low current (4.5 mA) or high current (8.75 mA) bolometer bias.

Klystron Power Supply

Klystron Power supply to generate voltage required for driving the Reflex Klystron Tubes like 2k25, 726A, RK 5976 etc., It has the facility to vary the Beam Voltage continuously and built-in facility of square & saw tooth generator,  amplitude & Frequency modulation. Instrument has been designed to give highly stable and regulated Output. It has been provided with short circuit protection &  overload trip. A digital meter provided to indicate the beam supply current and  Repeller supply voltage.
